I have been designing, doing the R&D, and manufacturing cool air systems for the C5 Corvette since April of 2000. This system has been on the market since April of 2002.

This system includes a K&N cone filter. The box I designed is in a circular shape vs. a square box, the air scoop is circular also. You might ask why this design? Proven fact air moves in a circular motion and my theory is at speed you have air spinning in a square box bouncing all over instead of smoothly spinning in to my circular shaped box and into the  round coned filter.

This system also comes with a plastic template that is screwed on for an exact hole placement, as these are also the same holes that the filter box mounts to. This makes it the easiest system to install on the market. When the template is screwed in place you now have a perfect size hole to cut out, and no cutting accidentally too far as the template prevents you from cutting any further. A razor knife is all that's required.
