Thes are the tools I use. Impact wrench, C-clip tool, 10mm & 13mm socket, 5/32 or 4mm allen wrench, Flat Blade screwdriver, Pipe wrench, Rubber mallet

Step 1) Remove the (9) 10mm right side cover bolts.
|
|
|
|
Step 2) Remove the stud and mount.
|
|
|
|
Step 3a) To remove the mount it reqires a 5/32 or a 4mm allen wrench.
|
|
|
|
Step 3b) Take note which way the mount is installed.
|
|
|
|
|
Step 3c) I put one of the bolts in the top location on the mount as to rember which way it goes in.
|
|
|
|
Step 3d) The correct way to remove the stud is to thread on the (2) nuts that hold the rear to the trans. and back it out with a wrench.
When the nuts are not availible to me I use a pipe wrench. |

|
Step 4) Remove the (10) 13mm differential case bolts with a impact wrench.
|
|
|
|
Step 5) You can now slide the assembly out.
|
|
|
|
Step 6) Stand up on end and work the shaft back and forth to get the case apart.
|
|
|
|
|
Step 7) Remove the C-clip on the end of the output shaft.
|
|
|
|
Step 8) Stand the unit back up and slide the shaft out.
|
|
|
|
Step 9) Slide the new shaft in and replace the C-clip.
|
|
|
|
Clutch pack: If the clutch pack slides out be sure to keep it exactly as it was installed.
|
|
|
|
Note the tabs on the spacers.
|
|
|
|
|
Step 10) Put the differential case back together with the (10) 13mm bolts. I use the impact wrench with the air set at 45lbs.
|
|
|
|
Step 11) Slide the assembly back into the case.
|
|
|
|
Step 12) Replace the mount and stud (31lbs).
|
|
|
|
Step 13) Replace the side cover with the (9) 10mm bolts. (18lbs)
|
|
|
|
All done.
