| These photos are taken with the wheels off so you can get a better view of the panels; it is not necessary to remove the wheels. With a small flat blade screwdriver remove the pins from the center of the plastic fasteners that hold the panel in place. On the underside remove the (2) 10mm bolts and the (1) 7mm bolt and then remove the panel from the inner fender. There you will find 2 tabs with double sided tape holding the inside cowl plastic. Separate this piece carefully from the body; this tape is thick so it will re-stick. Clean the inner fender around the cowl vent and then go over the same area with some rubbing alcohol to insure there is no dirt or grease. |

The screens are labeled left and right. Before removing the red plastic on the 3M tape fit the screen in place so you know right where it is going to install. I say this because if you go in blind with the tape ready to stick and you make a mistake the tape is very hard to save if you have to remove it. |

When you are ready removing the red plastic from the tape and at the same time press the acrylic block that is on the screen and from the outside press on the fender where the block is. Then take 2 of the 3” flat strips remove the red plastic from the tape and place them angle towards the screen as shown (bottom left) to keep the screen pressed up to the small edge of the vent. The picture on the bottom right is a C5 fender just to use as a reference. This product is so new that sets of C6 fenders are not available at this time. |
