I decided to start this group not to be an upstart (I'm a member of the Blue Angels #60, C5R#Y3454, and NCM Lifetime #648) but to bring closer together we few who own and appreciate the C5 Hardtop. We all have our preferences, be it the Convertible or the Coupe, Red on Black, Black on Red.

Here is a bit of my Corvette history.

I have owned Corvettes since 1970 a Sunfire Yellow '66 427 Coupe was my first.

My first ride in my cousin's new '61 (I was 9 at the time) had me hooked. After the '66 I started collecting and restoring them, (2) 54's, (1) '56, (2) 58's, (2) 62's, (1) 63 split window, and (1) 74' 454 (I hated that C3 I only bought it because it was the last Big Block what a pig and an automatic). The collection is all gone but now I am the proud owner of (2) 2000 FRCs and (1) 2001 Z06  to me the finest Corvette ever made.
